The purpose of this study is an attempt to make an increment in marital satisfaction through Transactional Analysis Group Counselling (T.A.G.C) among Iranian couples residing in Malaysia. This study is a quasi-experiment of T.A.G.C session using data collection. There were two experimental groups with 12 members (6 couples) in each. There were 9 dimensions in marital satisfaction including Communication, Spirituality Belief, Family and Friend, Sexual Relationship, Leisure Activity, Financial Management, Conflict Resolution, Child and Parent. The obtained data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test for comparing the means of between dimensions representing marital satisfaction before and after the intervention and data were based on Enrich Scale as well. The findings of the study showed high differences of mean in Marital Satisfaction after Iranian couples experienced TAGC intervention.
The present study was survey-based which explored the preferences of English language learners at Graduate level in Punjab (Pakistan). Two types of corrective feedback approaches among the students were seen. The first type of corrective feedback was implicit approach included recasts and clarification requests, while the second type of approach was more explicit represented by explicit error correction and meta-linguistic explanation. Moreover, a possible relationship between the proficiency level of the students and their perceptions’ towards preferences of treatment of error was explored. The total number of participants was 88. The findings of the study reveal that the students at Graduate level generally prefer explicit feedback, but they also show inclination towards one particular type of implicit feedback-recasts. Furthermore, the students accept feedback that emphasize on accurate production rather than fluency. The study has implications for English learners in classroom setting instigating the teachers to consider students’ self-perceived needs with respect to error correction.
Significant changes on socio-ekonomic, political and security level in the Republic of\nSerbia reflected on the development of tourism. The sekond half of 2008 and time after that were\nmarked by the World Econmic Crisis, that affected the entire social development in the world.\nThe scale of the economic crisis left a mark on the tourism development in Serbia. Comparing\nthe impact of econimic crisis on tourism development in Serbia with the surrounding countries, it\nis noted that countries that have direct access to the sea had more chances to attract foreign\ntourists, which is also reflected in the total tourist traffic. The tourism sector has a great interest\nin maintaining the quality of the environment, because clean and healthy environment is an\nimportant prerequisite for the successful development of tourism. The main activities in the\nRepublic of Serbia include tourism in large cities, spa tourism, cultural and natural heritage,\nhunting, fishing, rural tourism and river tourism.
The Quran is the holy scripture of Islam. Muslims believe that reciting the Quran give tranquillity to the inner-self. This research emphasizes on the effectiveness of reciting the Quran and its tranquillity in relation with the stress level among the students. The seventy-four respondents of this study came from Kolej PERMATApintar® Negara, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia who are randomly chosen for the purpose of cross-sectional study. Spielberger’s State-Trait Anxiety Inventory© is used to determine the overall stress level of the respondents. Digital sphygmomanometer is used to take the measurements of pulse rate, systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure of the respondents. In order to get a more authentic result, the respondents recited Surat al-Fatihah and Surat Yasen. As a result, the indicator is divided into different types of respondents within interrelation in reciting the Quran. 70.3% of the respondents showed a decrease of pulse rate after reciting the Quran with a p-value of 0.017 for the initial and final reading of the pulse rate. 60.8% of the respondents showed a decrease in the reading of systolic blood pressure (p=0.034) and 59.5% showed a decrease in the reading of diastolic blood pressure (p<0.01). The results of this research showed that reciting the Quran brings positive effect to the relaxation of the respondents thus, promotes the Quran as a new tool in non-medical treatment for psychological problems.
This article investigated both the legal and medical reasons for working with medical interpreters/translators and offers practical tips for doing so effectively with trained and professional interpreter/ translator. Data were collected on the study design, size, and comparison of multilingual patient groups with their therapists in psychotherapeutic processes, analytic techniques, interpreter training, and method of determining the participants\' need for an interpreter. This study was evaluated for the effect of interpreter used in clinical therapy that were most likely to either impact or reflect disparities in health and health care .This study reported positive and effective benefits of professional interpreters (as mental health service) on communication (errors and comprehension), clinical outcomes and psychotherapeutic satisfaction in the region of Mazandaran (the north province of Iran). The process and results of psychotherapy sessions are defective in the lack of common language between patients and therapists. The results of this study recommend the use of translators for facilitation and accentuation of therapy results when the language of therapists is different from patients
In this work the polyaniline nanocomposite coated on wheat husk ash (PAN/WHA)\nwas prepared. This nanocomposite was analyzed by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and\nscaning electron microscopy(SEM). The removal efficiency of malachite\ngreen(MG) by using PAN/WHA was investigated. An artificial neural network\nmodel(ANN) was developed to predict the photocatalytic removal of MG in the\npresence of PAN/WHA nanocomposite. The comparison between the predicted\nresults by designed model and the experimental data proved that modeling of the\nremoval process of MG using ANN was a precise method to predict the extent of\nMG removal under different conditions.
Hydraulic jumps are frequently used for excessive kinetic energy dissipation under hydraulic structures. The main objective of this study is to investigate the potential of M5 Model Tree for predicting the hydraulic jump characteristics, namely roller length and sequent depth based on Carollo et al.’s (2007) experimental data. Comparison of statistical results between M5 Model Tree and empirical-based equations of the sequent depth ratio (h2/h1) shows that M5 Model Tree allows a simple and reliable estimate for the sequent depth ratio. Also, the roller length could simply be calculated in rough bed without determining the bed characteristics and type of the jump. The results show that the classification of hydraulic jump in rough beds is different from smooth beds. More researches should be done in various hydraulic conditions to achieve certain results.
